Finishing up our tour of #WheelsofTime sites with those in Dover:
Dover Transport Museum: where you will find memories of old Dover, many forms of vintage transport and old shop fronts full of things that were familiar to the grandparents and great grandparents of our younger visitors.
Crabble Corn Mill: where you can enjoy a tour around the 5 floors of a water powered machinery. The mill can regularly be seen working and there are milling demonstrations. children can try milling on the replica quern stones or do a quiz as they walk around.
Dover Museum: home to a large collection of historical artefacts relating to the local area, including the world’s oldest known seagoing boat discovered nearby in 1992. There are three permanent exhibits – Archaeology Gallery, Dover History Gallery and the Bronze Age Boat Gallery
