Visit two Wheels of Time sites in the Kent coalfields:
Elvington and Eythorne Heritage Centre with information explaining the history of the local area with the now closed Tilmanstone Colliery, mining community of Elvington, along with the local parish of Eythorne and the ancient parish of Waldershare.

The East Kent Railway built to transport coal from the Kent coalfields to the London Chatham and Dover Railway at Shepherdswell and Sandwich, an intended link to Canterbury and Ramsgate never realised. Now runs between Eythorne and Shepherdswell.
Attractions include steam trains, other running stock, 2 miniature railways, a model railway coach and World War Two trenches and vehicles.
